$150.00 Otium This is our newest offer to the public - the Otium (peace, ease) spinning wheel.  This spinning wheel only requires a phillips head screwdriver and a 1/2 inch wrench.  Step by step picture instructions can be downloaded from our website for this very simple project.  Only the base and the wheel need to be put on by you.  Click on our download page to see the instructions for yourself.  Like all of our wheels, this one has been engineered to be simple but beautiful.  Each Otium comes with two Heavenly Handspinning bobbins that can hold in excess of 6 ounces.  Each bobbin is three inches wide and has a core of 6 inches in length.  These bobbins make plying a breeze. Spin wool, alpaca, silk, and angora whichever fiber you choose.  Make the yarn you need for your projects - from lace to bulky and everything in between.  Otium offers the following: Spinning wheel frame is made of 9-ply birch plywood - making it a beautiful natural wood and very rigid. The wheel its self is made of a very fine, high-quality mdf. Irish tension and is a single drive.
