Trixie

Here is a new twist on a very old design - a square drop spindle.  This is your square peg that fits very nicely in a round hole, thank you :>)

The Trixie's spindle shaft is made of oak and is about 12 inches in length and 3/8 in diameter.  The whorl is made of mahogany and is about 3 inches in diameter.  Trixie is hand rubbed in Danish oil and weighs 1.3 ozs. 

Trixie comes with an additional feature: for no extra charge you may have one name or one word wood-burned into the whorl, just like the one pictured above.  Please make sure to include the name or word, if wanted, into your remark's section in payment or purchase.  Otherwise, we will assume no name/word is wanted and Trixie will be shipped without it.

Little Joe

Nothing says spinning like a simple, economical, but unique drop spindle.  Our top whorl drop spindle is spoked for a unique kind of wagon-wheel look - reminiscent of those days on the ol' Bonanza.

The spindle shaft is made of birch, while the whorl is made of ash.  The whorl is 3 inches in diameter and the spindle is 3/8 of inch thick and about 12 inches in length.  The spindle and whorl are hand rubbed in Danish oil and weigh about 1.4 ozs.

Sweet Lu

Sweet Lu is a back to basics, simple, lovely, top-whorl drop spindle.  She is elegant, yet practical.  Sweet Lu is great for the beginner or the spindleholic collector.
